What better way to spend Father’s Day than be treated to a day of grooming at a high-end men’s saloon center, the Sports Barbers? Men’s Health Magazine indulged us selected fathers to an exclusive self-improvement experience dedicated to make us look better, feel better, train better and be better.
Sports Barbers, combines traditional barbering experience with stylish and sophisticated hair services specially tailored for men. The saloon was a little hard to find at the huge Mall of Asia that even the Concierge didn’t know where it was but after asking several mall guards patrolling the area, i was directed to the right spot.
First off, we were treated with some grooming make-overs like having our hair trimmed in style, shave, shampoo, massage and some nail cleaning and manicure. From start to finish I was pampered and entertained by my stylist, a guy who had working stints in the Middle East and I was most happy with the results… from the haircut to shampoo to the scalp massage including trimming on my eyebrows made for an amazing experience.

Equally, the staff of Summit Media were on hand to make us guests feel at home. They took their time with us and genuinely saw to it that we were comfortable. We were even provided a tablet to take an exclusive first look and trial of their new official Men’s Health Philippines website, www.MensHealth.ph while we were being groomed. Also, we were given a complete set of grooming giveaways like razors, razor blades, shampoos, shaving creams, body lotions and training giveaways.
It was truly refreshing to walk into a place where you are welcomed, treated as special guests, pampered with top notch service by its great staff, a great shampoo-haircut to go with it that i wish everyday was Fathers Day!

It was something relaxing that working fathers seem to take for granted after a long day’s work or being too busy with their sports training.
